Birmingham Night Shine Walk
Plenty of exciting news has come our way as we head out of summer.
We as a company are always ready to get involved with our community as much as possible. Although we are hard at work, nothing beats having a good time with your fellow colleagues for a good cause.
Some of our staff volunteered to take part in Birmingham’s Shine Night Walk. This is a charity for Cancer Research UK; thousands gathered to light up the streets in various neon paints and glow sticks. The Night Walk was a 10k walk around the perimeters of Birmingham, we were thrilled to raise in excess of £600 for Cancer Research UK.
Those who participated had an amazing experience and plenty of memories to take home from the walk. Nothing better than a 10k walk followed by a celebratory 
team beer.
Blue Thorn Welcomes Two Apprentices
We have had some new additions that have joined Blue Thorn. Will and Sam have recently joined our team as Advanced Building Services apprentices and will be studying at South and City
College. Will and Sam will be able to acquire many skills that will benefit them later in the future as they pursue their careers at Blue Thorn.
